B2Holding has through its Italian entity B2 Kapital entered into an agreement to acquire a portfolio of secured and unsecured non-performing loans (“NPLs”) from CentroMarca Banca Credito Cooperativo of Treviso and Venice. The portfolio has a nominal value of approximately EUR 46 million. B2Holding has been operating permanently in Italy since 2017 through the B2 Kapital entity, whose total NPL portfolio has reached around EUR 1 billion of gross book value. With this transaction, B2 Kapital further strengthens its presence in the NPL market in Italy. Even though this transaction would normally be below the threshold for announcement, B2Holding discloses this transaction in order to be fully transparent with the vendor's announcement in Italy.
