Debt Collection Agency EAD ("DCA"), the Bulgarian subsidiary of B2Holding ASA, has signed an agreement with UniCredit Bulbank (Bulgaria) for the acquisition of a non-performing credit portfolio composed of secured and unsecured, non-performing loans granted to private individuals, SMEs, and corporate customers. The portfolio consists of Bulgarian loans with a face value of EUR 249 millions.
"This portfolio is the third portfolio acquisition that B2Holding has made from Unicredit Bulbank and is an important milestone in the development of DCA, and confirms B2Holding's interest in acquiring different asset classes in the Bulgarian market. The acquisition is positioning B2Holding for further growth and development in Bulgaria", says Olav Dalen Zahl, CEO of B2Holding ASA.
Even though this transaction would normally be below the threshold for announcement, B2Holding discloses this transaction in order to be fully transparent with the vendor's announcement.
